Ok, just got my Ranger.
What rim size is best for 31-33" tires?
16,17,18?

 

15x8, but if your only workin with those three numbers then 16"

 

15x8, no wider then 8?
And whats my bolt pattern? 03 Ranger FX4

 

There's no need for rim wider than 8" for a 33" tire. now if you go bigger than a 33, get a 15x10
Ranger bolt pattern- 5x4.5

 

15x10 is fine for 33x12.5's but DEF not 31's and 32's there is a few members running 15x10 on 32's but i wouldnt recommend it

for a 12.50 get a 10 inch wheel. i like mine to stick out some. if your on at least 33s it will deffinatly look good. i know a guy thats got 31s on a 15x10 on his 4x2 ranger, it doesnt look too bad but not too great either. kinda too skinny for the wheels

 

I like my stock rims on mine, 16's, but buying tires is more expensive than say 15's would be.
