Rims wont go over hub!

I'm lost at the moment right now! I was told that these 16X7 rims would mount on my 06 2wd xlt but they are not going over the hub, what can I do?

The first attached pic is my stock rim

i think the center hole in the rim is smaller on 4x4s. those are off a 4x4 are they not? i think the center needs to be machined

I think Kyle's right... pretty sure 4x4s have a smaller hole in the rim.

Depends how much you like the wheels.... I'm not sure how far off they are from fitting, but maybe a couple thin spacers would make it work.

I know that center part of the hub doesn't stick out much. If you're lucky you'll be able to get away with a 1/4 or 5/16" spacer and still be able to use the stock wheel studs.

They will, i ran them for 3 years with machined out holes
You need to machine that lip on the inside of the rim. I used to run those exact same rims with summer tires. you don't need to take a whole lot out, but that very inner lip is all that needs to go and the hub will fit just fine.

if you have a small di grinder and some carbide bits you can just ream out the hole. the wheels are nut centric so the hole doesnt matter as the hub does not center the wheel

I've machined a set to fit the warn manual hubs, If your trying to do it right, take the truck and rims to a machine shop and let them do it. Or just take measurements and give them to a shop with the rims. I did mine at home, but that was when I had a mill and lathe in the garage.

Sorry for this quick hijack. I have the same edge/fx4 rims that am going to sell. The buyer has an 03 ranger edge 2wd. I have a 4x4 ranger edge 4x4 also 03. Will he run into problems? Just want to make sure so I can warn him. Thanks
