Running a spare tire

My front tire has gone flat and will only hold air for a few hours. Its a BFG all terrain and they're all finally worn out. I'm getting tires this weekend but until then I may have to run my spare tire. Only thing is it's a 245 and the rest of my tires are 265/75/16's. Would running a smaller spare on the front left wheel cause any issues on an 01 edge 4x4?

ide throw it on the back if pos.... unless you have a limited slip. truck will handle better with the spare in the back.

Negative.

You should never have mismatched tires while putting power to the ground, transmissions on FWD cars get ruined all the time because people put there smaller spare donut on the front and drive around with it for awhile thinking it's fine.

Also if you have LS rear end I will add a double negative, because it will mess up the diff.

Either way though, it's not good to be running different tire sizes no matter what side of the truck there on.

You will be fine for a week or two but take it easy in the truck. Going from a 265 to a 245 isn't exactly the biggest difference... I would still run it on the front though
