Rustproof Center Caps

The center caps on my Classic IIs are rusting really bad, is there any other center cap that I can get that won't rust? Also how do I go about cleaning them up, steel wool and some polish?

aluminum foil works really well to clean them if theyre chrome. are they just polished?

also spray them down with clear coat and then wax them and theyll hold up better, even the aluminum so they dont corrode

The MT's are nice wheels for the price, but the center caps are crap. I abandoned mine when I used the MT's in less than 6 months.

I hear that....I'm painting the MTs this week, probably do the center caps too and use them.
SOOOO tired of the corrosion from the salt up here...doesn't help that we set a new record for snow this winter....well over 100"....and counting....

That sounds good. The old caps from my stock wheels were like that and they held up great.

I might just get a set for the winter and then a set for the summer depending on how clean I can get these now.

Mine have actually held up great after 3 yrs of no care and living in the rust belt up here.
