Shipping wheels and tires

I have a problem. I would like to get some wheels and tires from summit racing, but I live in Canada, and they dont know what the duty fees and taxes will be at the border before hand. Does anyone know if there is an outfit something like summit in Canada where I dont have to worry about duty and ****?

If Summit does't know find out who would. Call customs and ask for an estimate.

If I were to get them put on in the US I would want to bring my old ones back so wouldnt they ask If I had anything to claim at the border when they see me with the old rims and tires in the back?

Save yourself the heartache and check out Canadian sites. No sence paying for duty and shipping, it usually works out to being the same in the end....sometimes more.....Damn UPS!!!

Where do you live and what rims are you looking at? Maybe I can help you in the right Canadian direction?

Hopefully I can help here....

Go to a local Kal-Tire, or perhaps a Fountain Tire (goodyear).

I got my AR Baja's for less than $130 cdn a piece. They'll have lots to choose from that can be ordered in.

Piece of cake, my canadian friend.

Kyle, this has happenned to a friend of mine from Edmonton...more hassle and the same fees at the border. If you're going to go south to do it, plan on not bringing anything back.

Oh, and get the new tires and rims a little dirty to make'em look "used"...lol

Aftermarket! I went to Kal tire in Vernon here and they want 170 a piece for Mickey thompson Classic II's. That could be the "sunshine" tax here though. I was just in Grande Prairie last weekend and picked up my BFG's for 180 cheaper than down here.

Well, I'd make some calls around for quotes. All you can do to save a few bucks.
