i dont know if i want to paint these black or leave them alone, i would like to have black steel wheels or polished aluminum but that is out of the budget. and since the clear coat is cracked, i cant decide what would look best.

 

paint if you dont wheel it at all, otherwise just leave it alone.

 

Thats such BS that carmakers clear coat the damn wheels. one little scratch and the wheel is f'ed. every vehicle with these CC wheels does this..

oh ya and Id say save the time and effort and leave them... they don't look too bad a few feet away..

 

if you paint them just paint the holes and slits black you could probably take that clear off and reclear the wheel and make them look like new

sanded, spray adhesive, 3 coats of black. held up for 5 months, got really muddy and chipped with the pressure washer. repainted, good to go

sidebiters go on today though...

 

You know, I never liked those wheels, but seeing them black looks pretty good!

thats what i said. i couldnt look at them any longer so that was temporary until i got disposable $$$
