For those of you that don't know, I have a 1999 Mazda B4000 4x4 SE. Stock suspension and crappy wheel/tire combo (255/60/17) at the moment. I have the opportunity to purchase 4 brand new Mickey Thompson Baja Claws (31x11.5x16) for $450. I worked the guy down on price.... Mickey Thompson Baja Claw 4 Tires

And I'd run this wheel with it, the 16x7 5 spoke FX4/Edge wheel. I talked him down to $200
Ford Ranger, Escape, Explorer Wheels

First question, should I do this.....I'm 90% yes on this.
Second question, is the tire too wide for this narrow of a rim? I've heard of 15x7 Alcoa's on 33x12.5's before though.....
And the condition of the wheels don't matter, because I'm going to paint them like MothMan did to his.
Last question, how far do you think I'll need to crank the t-bars?

i love those rims black, i was looking at claws, heard from someone they aren't too great in wet weather...and in general driving but are great in mud! the price is right though, so i say do it!

and those tires i heard weregood going forward in sud and mud but not backwards since its going against rotation
