Got a flat

I ran over a bungee cord and the hook went through my tire.

Does Discount tire repair tires for free? (i've heard they do, anyone know for sure?)

Did you buy the tires from Discount tire?? Getting it patched(if patchable) aren't that much at all. Under $20.

They tell no lies. I thought I was going to have to run on my spare today. I walked out to the truck and saw a screw sticking out of the top of it, fortunately it was a 1/4" screw and was in the tread and not in between. It's cheap patch job though.

i patched and plugged one of my tires this morning. Personally i wouldnt leave a temporary plug like that in. get it patched and plugged. if you go to discount you might be able to swing getting it done for free. tell them about that problem and tell them you want a tire inspection/rotation, then ask for some advice about your next set of tires. if you go in with a smile you should be able to get it done for free. wither way it wont cost much. maybe 12 bucks if i recall

Since I work for discount tire, i thought i could probly help out on this one. Discount tire and americas tire are the same company, and we repair anyone's tire, doesn't matter where u bought it, for free. We follow rma (rubber manufacturers association) guidelines so we can't repair everything (holes in the sidewall or shoulder mainly), but if we can repair it, its free. Hope this helps...
