Yet another 'will it fit'

I swear someone needs to make a sticky of what wheels from other models will fit what year ranger haha

but onto my question.

will rims from a 1997 mustang GT fit onto my 2wd sport? or are the dust caps/backspacing going to be an issue...?

'They will fit a spacer will be needed in the front to clear the dust cap but that is an easy fix, I can't remember but I'm thinking maybe a 1/4".

Get a set and get some spacers. You only need spacers for the front.

spacers are like $150 for a pair, i just wanted the rims as a temp fix for the ugliness that mine are right now, and the fact that I have one flat tire and another with a slow leak from the valve stem, and two other flats in the past 4 weeks, so i need tires badly haha buuuut no more for new ones

I have some friends that work at a metal fab shop. I should see how much they would charge for some aluminum wheel spacers.

I'd sell em to you guys though that need em. If I can get them for a lot less than $150 I'd start making and selling them.

can you not take a bfh to the dust cap? Or is there something right behind it?

Sometimes you need the spacers to clear the hubs and not necessairly the dust shield.

I think you only need a small spacer... not one that has another set of studs on it. They're MUCH cheaper than $150 if you do!

Not 100% sure but I think it's the 05+ Mustang wheels that need the 1" spacer. By the way, there's a set of them on Kijiji w/ tires for $550.
