well i will give some back story....
im in need of tires...BAD! i let my camber go for a while and chewed up my tires... I dont feel so bad, cus my Maxxis Big Horn's were starting to get loud and slightly annoying... never the less a good tire... Any who
ive had a set of KM2's (33x12.50x15's) on order, well back order for quite some time... going on 9 weeks now I ordered through Les Schwab's because of there servie and warrenty they offer( im aware of there lesser warrenty ordering a non house tire), however i am getting sick of waiting and need tires pronto! so im not sure im wanting to wait much longer... so...
should i hold out for the tried and trued KM2?
or mix it up and try the new Dot General Grabber
according to fourwheelparts the General's are 2 bucks more. i think they will be tuff tire and keep reading decent things...
vote and tell me what you think!?

if i wanted a generic tire that all the "bros" have i would get toyo's
i have been hearing that many many weeks now! why do i need km2's scince im 4x4..... reading some of the reviews the new generals are one of the best tires avail... i know the km2s are too....
follow this link and i can prove that km2 are not load range e, not sure why the anyone with a 15"rim would ever need an E rating... most anything worth using to haul came with a 16 or 16.5...and thats the older stuff.....
may go in and check on the generals....most of the people whos imput i generally find to be valid are pointing me towards the grabbers.

i dont go "mudding" or all that bs alot of others do, my offroading/wheeling consists of some snow and sand.... im also on gravel quite often som im kinda more intersted in the grabbers durability....and just somthing different. dont get me wrong i know the km2 are an amazing tire.... thus this thread

daniel! you will not be accompanying me wheeling next year if you downgrade to an all terrain tire, that is just simply unacceptable and im very surprised by you even considering such a terrible horrible idea Mr. Fourliter!! this kind of thought/behavior will not be tolerated and you must drop that idea ASAP, consequences will be harsh and swift. To conclude, im going to give you a mulligan, and pretend that these ridiculous thoughts never crossed your mind.

My comment above was since he has 15” Rims he will not have to suffer the LR “E” Tires...
Sorry, check it out an see.
Yes you do not need Load Range “E" but I had the rims and wanted KM2s so the tires are what they are.
I lowered the pressure a little and it works for now. As soon as the new bumpers are on and the Coil-Overs get adjusted we will see about a better ride.
The GG Tires look good, general used to be good tire company but I do not know now, I have had BFGs for so long.
Take a chance, be different...

Yuck, the 35s on my F150 are D rated which is way more than enough. I would hate to have E rated tires on a Ranger.
I voted KM2s of course, I have them and love them. Great manners on the road, quiet for a mud terrain, getting great mileage and wear. They work great in sand, snow, mud, ice etc.
I haven't read about the new grabber, but they look like they would end up noisy and the big tread blocks would wear funny. I bet they aren't good in heavy rain because of the big tread blocks and smaller voids. Also the KM2s have been out for a while, and have a good rep, and you know you'll get plenty of miles from them.
I really liked my Cooper STTs when I had them a few years ago too, I may get them again some time.
