Spent the morning sanding wheels

So I caught a deal on here for a set of alcoas that were in various stages of being stripped and sanded. 3 of them were machined wheels and one was a factory polished wheel. Well I decided this mornings time would be well spent making them pretty again

here is what I started with

The first wheel after going 80 grit sanding, then 400 grit sanding, then mothers wheel polish. My friend said I aught to go up to 2000 grit and make them like mirrors but thats not my style. This is good enough for me

It should be obvious which one I polished lol

here is a shot of it on the truck but no tire yet

I must say it sucks to do it but its worth it. I would do it again if I had to

Thanks, The tires are getting mounted on them here tonight so they will be a work in progress as I go. I thought about going DSG on them but A) it kills me to paint good aluminum wheels B) it wouldnt look good on my truck

Well Ive got the rustys long travel arms and my coil mounts from balistic along with the brackets. I just need an axle and coils really. But I am in no hurry. I have another project that just reared its ugly head and I have to tackle (non ranger project)
