rockstar fitment?

im still astonished by the fact that i found rockstars that will fit a ranger bolt pattern.

gotta love Alon at mod bargins.....
before i order them (after next paycheck) i wanna know how they fit.

now, it says the offset is 0 and the backspace is 5"
how will they fit??

.......are they even going to clear the calipers???

i really really wanna know, since im pretty much saving up 2 months worth of paychecks for this new set (including tires) and dont wanna waste my time just to find out that they dont fit right at all...

thanks
randy

There was a member here that had them....but i believe he bought blanks and had them drilled because they didn't make our bolt pattern.

5" backspace is actually quite a bit.. what size wheels are you going by chance? 15's? 16's?, 8 inch? 10 inch?

Anythign larger then a 15x8 can fit over teh caliper just fine.. although, with a 5" backspace.. you -may- need to look into it a little more with soem measurements.

depending on how much they dish, a 5 inch BS is a TON and will put that tire in way far. On most 10" rims they run about a 4 inch BS to keep it comfortable and keep the tires from rubbing like crazy. You may want to look into a 1.25" wheel spacer set if you plan to run a 33x12.5 on those rims to get the BS out to like 3.75, you will also like where the tires sit in the wheel well better with it spaced out like that. But if it's truely a 9" rim than a 0 offset should only be a 4.5" BS which is the factory rim spacing, of course with 33x12.5s it will probly still rub if it is 4.5" BS.

There's a newer tacoma here with those on it, and i love the way it looks....i suggest those if your into the aluminum wheel coated look...like the rockstars. But then again...i havn't looked up the specs on them.

the 15x7's and 16x8's have an "acceptable" backspacing..

but u'd have to show me a pic...cuz those rims alone....dont really get me at all...

i was leaning towards the rougue gloss ones..
