Its past due for new tread!!!!

well i need new tires on my truck as mine are slicks and i havent been abel to drive it for a few weeks. here are my choice's for tires. i can get a really good deal on all these tires but dont know what ones to get. i really like the way the goodyear wrangler duratrac's look.

Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac

Road Venture AT KL78

BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO

Off brand mud tire (really cheap price)

Plus, i was just wondering what kind of miles you can get out of a set of MT's on our trucks.

i was hopeing for some more input on all these tires. for the price on any of them i cant go wrong i guess. Just dont want to make a mistake when picking a tire to ride on.

Dura trac - Good tire, decent ride, excellent off road.
Road venture - Good tire, not recommended for heavy mudding
BFG All terrain - aka "mud slick" terrible tire even on wet grass
Off brand mudder - go for it, cheap price, good looks, good performance on any terrain, be sure to keep rotated regularly and you'll get decent mileage out of them.

well mudds will usually not last as longas ats.... the BFG's are awsome tires (not in mud really) cuz the have a 3 ply sidewall and they last forever assuming you take care of them. the KL78's are a great tire. decent tread like cheap and a good looking tire. the dura trac's are a great tire too. idk too much about them but ive heard great things...... now imo the KL78 are the best dollar for dollar they look great perform well at a good price. the BFG AT/KO's would be the last tires you buy i ghave seen 80k miles out of them.

the off brand mud tire is a GT Radial Adventuro M/T i can get them for $400, not really a bad looking tire, im just afraid of bad tread wear and bad handeling

Just whatever you do, go ahead and spend the extra money and MAKE sure you get what you want! If you get a brand new set of tires and dont like them, you're screwed... lol

But I would go with the BFG's prolly.

i drive mainly city/highway, but im out in the woods alot on two tracks that are mainly a mix of every thing plus i pull a 18 ft bass boat with the truck. as for size right now i have 265/75/16 on the truck but the new tire size im going with is 235/85/16 i was told i would get a better ride out of the truck with that tire size.

i would probably go with the BFG at's.... a lil pricey but they last forever, trong tire with there 3 ply sideall.... the size they gave you was a tad bit taller and a tad bit skinnier... if you didnt know already... i see you have have a BL and blocks wat a 32" tire big enough for you
