12.5 or 10.5

I took my truck to a tire center and tried on a 33x12.5x15 on my 15x8 rim and it looked a little wierd. . . . kinda looked like a donut - can you all post a pic of a 33x10.5x15 or should i just go with a 31? i dont want it to pop out too much, just want it tall. Or should i just dump the black steel and go for a 15x10 alloy for the 33x12.5x15 ?

a 12.5 on a 15x8 looks just fine.. lol, maybe it was just the type of tire you had on it... I know any "smooth walled" type tire looks sort of funny on a 15x8, get something with some meat and it looks great..

Edit: And yes they are all the same size tire.. looks wierd in this picture, almost like the drivers front is an inch or two smaller..

Yah i got 32x11.5's and they are great i wish i had gone wider but it will soon come and w/e you do don't get a 15x10 rim for your tires you risk runnign the bead off.

I just ordered new tires and stuck with 31x10.50. They are wide enough for my truck plus i like the looks with 31s. I ordered hankook dynapro m/ts. If you have a v6 go 33s and you wont regret it one bit, 2.3 go 31s or 32s.

12.50

bigger is always better. when i had the 285/75-16s (11" wide?) on my truck i hated them.. too narrow

and go with a 15x8 if you plan on wheelin it and airing down
my avatar is 15x8 and 35x1250s with 15 PSI in the tires, i've had them down to 10-12 and done some stupid stuff, never had an issue *knock on wood*

(damn you Casey for taking low resolution pictures, that would have made an excellent background)

I think you mean 15x7. Stock ranger wheels are 7" wide.

My backspace with Ultra Baja 15x8's is a 3.75" backspace, stick out just past the fender flare on my truck with 12.5's.. the mud still flings up a little bit.. but I dont have to worry too much abotu road debri cutting up the side of my truck at all.
