33x12.50 vs. 33x 11.50 for mainly snow/wet??
Hey. So my MTZ are getting worn out enough that I don't think they'll be very safe to have on when the cold weather/snow etc starts comin soon so I'm looking to buy either BFG A/T or maybe the wrangler duratracs after doing more research...
I'm just curious whether or not I should be looking at getting the narrower 11.50" tire this time? I'm not sure how much the 1" smaller tire will change the look of the truck... if it's barely noticeable I'll save myself the money and get the 11... if it will change the look enough to notice, and isn't really going to make any significant improvements to my winter handling/traction, I'll stick to the beefy 12's... Thoughts? thanks
EDIT: thinking about the duratracs now.. Anyone know how the wear is on them? And are they canadian tire only? I called ford and the duratrac didn't come up, unless the guy didnlt spell it right

I honestly dont think it will make enough of a difference going from a 11.5 to a 12.5. If it was me I would probably drop it down to a 10.5.
Your rim is probably going to be the deciding factor on whether it will change it any. If you have an 8 inch wide rim, then the 11.5 will probably be noticeably narrower. But my guess is with a 10 inch wide rim it wont narrow it much.

Hey thanks for the feedback guys. Hopefully ill be ordering soon. As far as the km I got out of the mtz... So far I have 60 000km on them.. If we weren't about to go into winter driving I could probably put another 20 000 - 30 000 km on them... They'd be useless on anything other than pavement but thwy would be usable
