Tire difference

I am looking at new tires, espically the Nittos. My question is there are two different types of the Nitto Grapplers. One cost $170 and the other cost $195

Here are the specs on them and could someone tell me the difference.

$170 - LT285/75R16D1 122Q B

$195 - LT285/75R16E1 126Q B

Load range. First set is load range D, second is E. You do not need E's on a ranger. I have C's on mine.

So I should definatley get the load E's for $170.

Its that going to make my ride smoother and do you know what ply that is?

D's for $170. Lower number=lower load capacity. You would just be throwing away money buying E's.

I think the higher the load rating the worse it will ride on our trucks. You'll be fine with a D
