Load range E tires are the only ones that are like that. Any other tire you should follow the pressure recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

Um all BFG A/T's are load range E take a look at the side of your tire, youll see it there.

Well hmmm I have had 3 sets of M/T's on my truck, my buddy has had 6 on his explorer and is on 4 on his wrangler. My other buddy has gone through about 5 sets of 35's on his chevy and not to mention any of the other guys I wheel with. I like first hand experience. Not what some guy in an office gets paid to say.

Yes Trent he was. Quick to jump on someone else when you, yourself don't know 'everything.' Guess your training wasn't that good huh?
#36
The training said that LRE tires should be inflated to 50psi. It didnt anything about all the different load ranges that BFG A/T's come in.
#37
Well IMO that is not the best training. If you sell the tires the training should cover every aspect of the tires being sold. Not just one specific load range.

They do, for example we can get the Michelin LTX M/S in a C, D or E load range. I know that and I know the difference between them. We sell the BFG A/T in a LRE ONLY not in a C or D, so I know all about the LRE's.

In the word's of yourself 'do some research!'

Do you not read anything you say. That is exactly what I wanted you to say. Because if you read back in this thread you say that you know everything about the tires and you have a certification. But when in actuality you don't know everything, you don't even know the half of it. You know one little specific load range of a specific tire.

For what ever reason you feel like being an a$$hole and dragging this out. As for me I'm done with this thread.
YOU WIN! There I said it, YOU WIN!
But just remember fighting on the internet is like being in the Special Olympics even if you win you're still retarded.

When we only sell one load range for that tire, why do I need to know that you can get other load ranges at other places. That's like saying if you work at McDonald's you should know how to make a whopper.

Here's the deal. I know the tires that we sell, I know them very well. If we sell it I can tell you about it. If we dont sell it I dont know much about it. The OP asked about BFG A/T's and I responded with what I knew to the best of my ability. When I found out that I was not 100% correct, I admitted it. I was being a good guy and giving information and advise to someone in need.

But anyway my buddy has 100,000 on a set of BFG A/T's and is still running them.

Lets see. According to BFgs website there are only certain sizes that come in load range E.
So if I went to Costco for tires and I wanted to purchase BFG A/Ts you wouldn't be able to sell me any as they (BFG) don't make my stock tire size (255/70/16) in load range E. I picked stock as I believe it's Costcos policy/rule that that won't put on any other size than what the auto manufacture recommends.
Here is the chart on BFGs website on their various All Terrain sizes, load ranges, and general specs.

I'm not trying to argue, but after reading all of this, it sounds silly that they would only sell load range E tires which have a rougher ride. My stock tires weren't load range E so why would Costco only use those? Your stuff doesn't add up.
