Polished or Chrome

Is there really a difference and if so, which is better. I am thinking chrome, but not sure?

well polished is made of aluminum that you polish

Whereas chrome is a coating that parts are dipped in which means it will crack if bent. Chrome is also shinyer than polished ( i cant spell)

Chrome pits easier than polished... You can polish things to look like chrome...
