Tire pressure for 32" BFG At's

What tire pressure should I run with my 32x11.50x15 BFG All Terrains? I don't see a recommended tire pressure on the tire, just a max. I'm running 40 now but i don't know if thats too much or too less. What are you guys running?

you should run close to what the max is for the front since that is where most of the weight is.....then run anywhere from 5-10 psi lower in the rear so you get a good contact patch..

I run 35 in the front, and 32 in the rear. That's what I have always ran and never had any problems. 40 is a good PSI for MPG, but with those width tires on a 8" rims, I can almost guarantee that the center has more pressure than the sides. I say air them down a bit. The max PSI is not always the number to run.

K i'll air the fronts down to 37-38 and then 35 for the rear to see how that holds up. Thanks guys

my max says 65 haha, no way I'm running like that. Man it rides rough.

Usually about 35 to 40 is what I run

technically you need to figure out what YOUR truck's optimum psi is.....run through a water puddle, then see how much tread you are putting on dry pavement.....do this until you optimize your tire pressures to get the most tread pattern......

if the inner of the tire is only hitting, then let some air out......if the edges are hitting then you need to add air.......

I run all mine at 35 psi.

Maurice thats a pretty good idea on how to get just the right amount of air in.

What kind of affects on your gas mileage can you expect with the wrong tire pressure?

not only will milage suffer, but tire wear will too....you can get anywhere up to 2-3mpg worse if you don't have the proper psi in the tires...
