Tire and rim width.
Ok heres the thing, I bought 15x7" Black Rock Crawlers last summer, dont ask me why I went with the stock width on an aftermarket tire :censored: .........yah and i know zach you told me so. But I wondering if 15x8's would really make a difference on how wide my 31's look? So to sum it up will the 8's look better than the 7's? Thanks yall.

I wouldnt buy it for look... and it wont look much different.. maybe stick out more
and fling more crap all over your paint mainly |
It would be an inch difference...lol right?
31x10.5 tire?? On a 15x7 wheel, the tire will not stick out past the fender. If you get a 15x8, it will most likely stick out a 1/4 inch or so..makin the truck look a lot better IMO. Maybe we can get a few pix. I had 30x9.5 on a 15x8 and they were pretty much even with the fenders. (with fender flairs) |

level II's come with 15x7's and 10.5 wide, so i would think the tire should be touching all the ground as it sits, but yes, a 15x8 would help flatten the tire so it is touching all of the ground if it is not already. If you plan to go any bigger then a 10.5 wide tire, then you need to get a wider wheel. My opinion is yes, a 15x8 wheel will make your truck look better. |

Yep wider wheels make it look better....Makes the tire look quite a bit bigger too. I have 15x8's on 12.50's and have saw 15x10's on 12.50's and they look 100x's better than 15x8's. I am going to move up to 15x10's sooner or later.

I'm gettin the Stock Alcoa 15x7, so If get a tire in 15x10..
Will it be alright or could go big bigger... |
On the Alcoa you prolly wont want to run a tire wider than 10.5".
