Tire size?

I have a 2001 ranger xlt and I am currently running 235/75/r15 size tires on it, the recommended factory size tire is 225/70/r15, is there really a difference in the tire size, and if I went back to the factory size tire would it improve my gas mileage? Currently i get 18.5 miles to the gallon. One other question is are yokohama a/t s tires decent tires? and how do they handle in the rain?

The tire size probably won't make that much of a difference and I don't know anything about those tires.

To answer your question though, very little difference in size and you shoudn't notice a difference in mpgs. I dont know much and the yokos a/ts but i do like their geolander m/ts.
