Should I need an alignment??

I got my wheels back finally and I think* had an alignment done when I was running my 225/75's and the wheels hopefully going on are 31x10.5. I can't remember if I had it done with the 31's or without them. Should I need an alignment...or should I say that its recommended that I get one?

Tire size does not change your alignment. If after about 6k miles you notice odd wear on the tires then bring it in and have the alignment checked.

The alignment is usually done on the spindels and axles, not on the tires. So tire/rim changes should not affect the alignment.

When I bought my new rubber, the rubber dealer said if I ever want to make a warrenty claim through the manufacturer (BFG), they said I would need proof of an alignment when the tires got installed.
