Need tires for the edge.

Ok guys, I have no clue what tires I want. I want something that'll do good in mud, because if we get lucky sometimes we get rain and then theres mud. But mostly it'll be used on dirt and street. I wanna get 31"s because from what I have read thats the biggest I can do without rubbing.

So, fire away suggestions. I'm still debating if I want to do a body lift first then go with 33's

You can run 32s with a slight torsion crank, I rubbed at full lock in reverse though. You can get the summit BL for 107 dollars now, do it!

Grab some 32's. I just made a thread about wheels but I found a local place where I can get 265/75/16 General Grabber AT2 for less than 31x10.50/15 BFG ATs. I have also heard nothing but good things about the AT2s.

km2's maybe. Not sure how many miles people are getting out of them. Maybe some MTZ's? Thats if you want a mud tire but if not then i would go with BFG AT's.

Yeah go with 32's, BFG at's are a good choice, I'm wishing I bought 32's now with the body lift lol but I like the 31's nontheless still looks nasty.

If you want a mud tire do not go with any AT of any sort.

32x11.5r15s will fit nicely on a stock edge(+/- torsion bar crank)

BUT if you are going to be lifting it do that first, dont buy tires then want to get a larger set. Running around with a BL and stock tires for a short period of time is far better than wasting money on a set of tires that are too small

im thinking of doing the 3" body lift and i know 33x12.5 will fit but will 33x13.5 fit? and if it clears there will it work with my rims that are only 15x8? cause if this all works then those nitto mud grapplers might be an addition to my truck later this year

Not for 230 a tire my friend.

And what offset wheel should I get?

33x12.5 is the size im guessing I should go tire wise, I figure i'll get some d windows or soft 8's.

well you said you just wanted to go with 31" so i would go with cooper discoverer s/t. they are very long lasting tires, they do better than bfg a/t in mud too
