I purchased a set of open-pore aluminum wheels about a month or so ago and I am just finishing polishing them and I was wonder what the best way to seal them is? I don't want to polish them forever every weekend so what's the best way? Should I spray clearcoat over them or is there a product I can buy to help maintain the look without hours of polishing every week?

Is there an alternative to using ZOOP? I'm unemployed and cash is REALLY tight for me right now

 

I'd say clear coat them and have whoever balences them stick the weights on the back of rim.

 

or use tape weights

 

if your in a financial situation just keep polishing..

 

after polishing try using a light wax to seal them up. they use de-icer on the roads in my area and a lot of people do this to pertect their stuff in the winter.

IMO.. just clean, buff with a mothers power ball, and wax.
