Tires & Lift

I recently bought a 2002 Ranger XLT (first truck). It was a good deal and I had been looking for a light-duty vehicle. Anyway....... I'm considering getting some General Grabber at2's. I like the aggressive-tire-look and it would help significantly in rough weather handling.

Do they require a lift for the tire to look good?

I realize that it depends on the size; so, any ideas on a good balance between tire size and lift?

Is your truck a 4x4? If not then yes it needs a minor lift to look good IMO. You should be able to fit 32".

If 4x4 then a tbar crank and 32" wheels look very good.

Another popular option (and best looking IMO) is getting a body lift and putting 33" tires under it.
