dang it, mud grapplers will own you on the road......seems like they wear super fast and dont ride all that hot at all, pretty sick off road and they look cool but thats it, 18's would have been sweet though........why didnt you consider smaller rims with the toyos to help with price??

you should be fine with them. they have a nice howl to them on road, and if you keep them rotated like anyone tire, they will last a lot longer. they shouldnt wear to fast since your truck doesnt weight as much as most that run them.

well i did consider smaller toyos....but the more i thought about the low noise level of them the more i liked the nittos. i just like the agressive sound coming down the road thats matches the agressive look. one of my buddy has the in 35's on his z71 and i love how they sound on the road and they dont ride bad at all.

In Toyo's defense and because I love my toyos they opened an AMERICAN plant. I read about it awhile back. I dont know which tires are being made there since toyo makes just about everything.

I own the A/T's and I will never buy another set of tires for as long as I live. I can only imagine that the M/Ts are just as good.

But I would like to know how the Nitto wear and work out over time as well.
