i paid 1500 for 4 Classic IIs, and 4 35x1250 MTZs AND the road hazard... toyos would have been $200 more

^^Blackhawk you only really do short trips though. it's only really the long trips and a hot road surface that eats tires. And STT's in 285/75-16 are around $200.

check out mastercraft tires (made by cooper), three of my tires have about 40k on em and they still have 50% tread left.
they are great tires in snow and mud. |

I voted on the BFG since they are the only ones up there i have used but i also recommend Super Swamper Irok ND's which do come in a 285/75R16!

I got BFG's. Many have gotten long life out of them and they do pretty good in mud. If u want a full blown mud tire go with boggers or ltb's
|
im putting bfg's on my truck, great tires, can never go wrong.
|
I love my toyos and will buy another set when theses wear out. They wear good I put around 100 miles a day driving to work and back. I have not had a problem in the sand, snow, or mud. I got stuck in the mud once and thats cuz I was on the frame and being dumb lol.
|
i love bfg's and m/t's those are my 2 fav tires, and i wont turn down good year wranglers either.

i just got a set of BFG muds, and love them...go for the BFG's
|
The toyo's are sipped so get those. They still have aggressive tread and look great.

I personally like my DC Crushers.
|
I got a set of eagle alloys 185's with 33x12.50 BFG Muds mounted and balanced and shipped on the way for 1250.00

I can honestly say I am very very very happy with my own dick cepek M/T's, fantastic tire, has siping on it, PLENTY of grip, and the traction is unbelievable!
|
yeah i have dick cepek's now. they are alright for the price. But I have heard from some friends I know that work at Les Schwab that sizes 33 and above are not made as well as the smaller one. I dont know why, but thats what they told me.
