Any farmers or smart tire people I need help

I am trying to get our tractor put back together and i need new tires for the front i am wondering if anyone knows what 11L X 15 8pl converts to in truck tire size. we have fixed endless amounts of holes in the tubes with slime and patches and new tubes but now the tires are bad also so we might switch to a high ply truck tire. i found on a website that tires has an od of 30" wich im assuming is the outside diameter but is 11L the width? and so what size would that be? its a 1969 4020 LP John Deere thanks

I would look for three things that need to match up. Rim size, how many plies there are, and the load rating. I have no idea about tractor tires but if those 3 things match and it doesn't rub on anything, the worst that can happen is you blow another tire.

well i know the rim is a 15" but the thing i was wondering how would a heavy ply truck tire handle the wieght i dont know how heavy the tractor is it only get used a cpl times a month moving round bales its our only one small enough to get in and out of all the pens without too much trouble.

Weight: 8645 to 13980 pounds is what i just found on a website about the tractor wich is like almost two fullsize pickups am i right so pry better off sticking with a tractor tire. they just dont seem to last long we had alot of our land grubbed last year but they left alot of stumps we been grubbing em as we find but still hit one just right and there goes a tire and its got 8plys on it now i found some 12plys wonder if they will make a diff but 190 a piece not with shipping
