what do you think?

hey guys, my friend just took off some 265/75-16 good years from his chevy 1500, and he said he would give them to me for free.

my question is... my truck is stock, and i was wondering if i could fit them under nieth there without a body lift? the truck is a 3.0 single cab 4x4 offroad.

any input would be great, and if anyone has 265's 75-16 on there truck pictures would be awesome.

thanks guys.
mike

So are 265/70 = 31.6 x 10.5(or somewhat close to that?) If so then basically they are a 31x10.5 16 really right?

approx the same size, a litle bigger because 15" tires run small in most cases

they are close...

285/75R16= 32.8"x 11.2"

275/70R16= 31.2" x 10.8"

265/75R16= 31.6" x 10.4"

i believe its just an excuse to charge us wayyyyy overpriced for 16" rim tires vs 15"

265/70R16 is 30.6x10.43. Its the same overall diameter as your stock 245's but its an inch wider. 245/75R16 = 30x9.50

Just for future reference this is the site I use to equate actual tire sizes and compare them. Clicky

You'll love the Grabber AT2's by the way. I have them on my truck right now and they are great. Awesome in snow, mud, rain, dirt, gravel etc. A very capable AT tire. You'll have to check them out when we meet up in Syracuse.
