I just wanna know what size tires will fit on my 1995 ford ranger 4x4 with 3 in body lift.

 

with leveling spring about 33x12.5 on 15x8.. no leveling spring maybe 33x12.5 hard to say maybe 32x11.5 would be better. pics of truck help

i had my 31x10.50x15's on my truck with almost no lift in the front.
i would say 33's should be fine.

 

going off of what alot of members here ran with the 4x4's...

assuming he is gonna wheel it also being 4x4 he will want the clearness...

i had 32's on my truck wit NO lift... did it rub.. yes... do i recommened it no...

 

"You would say," but you don't know. Your 31 x 10.5 are a completely separate ballgame, and are not relevant to this discussion.


33x12.50 WILL rub your radius arms and your front swaybar at full lock (or partial, depending on your tire and how knobby it is) with only a 3" body lift. A 1-2" spacer will help alleviate, but you will still experience rubbing when you bottom out @ full compression. It does not matter what wheel size or small offset you have...and if you get an offset too big, it will cause extra wear & strain on your front bearing, joints, etc. which you don't want. It becomes more of a pain excessively costly...

I would recommend 32 x 11.50 x whatever rim. A 32.5 tire would work too with lessened problems, and that 0.5" difference from 32.5 to 33 DOES matter. They fit, but with rubbing, and after use and a couple years, your springs sag and you start having fender running and clearance issues.

I'm a Gen III like you and run the 33'sx12.50's. Looks badass, and if you don't mind the rubbing and adjusted steering & driving, it's fine. If you are buying new tires from a dealer, just go with the 32. Looks just as cool, without the issues.

 

with a '97 and older Ranger, 33's should be on a MINIMUM of 4" of lift.....with a 3" body lift, 32x11.50x15 is the biggest you should go......hell, i am running 35's with 9" of lift......

 

I had slight rubbing with 32x11.5 BFG A/T on my 96 Ranger with a 3 inch body lift at full turn!

 

ya i have rubbing to with a 3 inch body and 33x12.50 but all you have to do is remove the mud flaps covering the engine and mine stopped so you can try that

 

you have torsion bar suspension different front end not relevant unless you own a gen 3 i dont know about...

I don't rub under normal driving conditions, if I was fully flexed and articulated it would definately rub
