I am pretty sure they have a warranty. I have seen them in person and they look to be a good tire.

My dad has the Definity A/T's and likes them alot so far.

I love mine. They clean well. Ride quiet enough on the highway. have a 40k mile warrantee on them. I got the Load E heavy duty M/T in 265/75/16. They are made by Cooper and the difference I guess is that Cooper STTs are 3 ply and these are 2. I have hit my share of roots and curbs and not a mark on them.
I have my share of pics on here so if you want to see them in action just type my name in the search box.

Pepboys tire.

I sell em. I dig em, almost bought the 31's but I'd rather have the 3 ply sidewall.

Yes, they are made by cooper, all pepboys tires (sans hankook, are.)

Plus, they come with the buy 3 get the 4 tire free*.

*Through mail in rebate.

We still do.

That deal is never going away. Just hit me up if you have any questions about them.

In order to get the free tire, you have to purchase the road hazard, which is like $12.49 per tire, it basically, gives you free rotations, free balancing and free tire repairs for the life of the tire. Plus they are warrantied for 40k.

/pepboys plug

they added that since i bought mine. i rather not sped the extra $12.50/tire. being a bmw tech you guys can keep your balancing (which i had to re-do), rotations and "repairs"...plugs... that i can handle. Sorry to burst the bubble on the road hazard. The guys at the one i went to couldn't balance a wheel if their life depended on it.

BUT the tire is pretty good, do you have a price on the 33x12.5x15 M/T? Because they made them when i bought my 31s....but once again, according to the local pep boys, they dont make the m/t in that size. just a/t.

Where did you find them for 109 a tire??? The pepboys here told me 4 tires mounted and balanced would be 760$ after taxes with a $140 rebate or something like that.

I got an official quote, it is $743.95 out the door, and the mail in rebate is $142, so after the rebate comes to $600 for a set of 265/75/16. I'm thinking about doing it, I have had my heart set on BFG ATs but the mud tires would look sick! I will not be doing much mudding, only occassionally to keep down repair costs. thats why i was thinking the bfg ats but this is a real good price. I might get the pep boys credit card no interest for 12 months and just pay like $75 a month.

I went into a Pep Boys for work today. I work at Dunbar Armored and pick up their money.

I asked the guy about the Dakota M/T's because of this thread. I asked him how they performed and how long they lasted.

He said that they probably wont last 40k if its a majority street tire. He said that alot of guys get them for their trail rig. With the warranty that covers you some what.

I still think for the price they are good looking and performing tire.

mine have held up well, probably have 30k on them. plenty of tread left. Also hauled about 3000lbs crosscountry and that didn't seem to affect them too much. wheeled plenty too!

just need a price on the 33 m/ts

Well my rear right tire blew out today out of nowwhere, I threw on my spare. Now I have a need to get new tires. I want to go with pepboys since they have no interest for 12 months, and their tires are cheap. I really like the m/ts, If they would last me 30,000 I'd say its worth the 600$...right? How long would another tire last, say the bfg ATs, which will be closer to $1000? I guess I could get the definity dakota ATs, they kind of have that aggressive look that the bfg ATs do. Does anyone have the ATs? Any pics?

i have the a/t's 235-15 size. i use them as my winter tires though they do just fine in summer months and in the dirt. ive had this set for about 3 years now, i dont keep track of milage with 2 sets, but they seem to be wearing good. handle a load real well too, i had about 1,000 pounds of trailer tounge weight on them a few weeks back and they held for me. at the time i got the a/t's this size was about 55 a tire. id have got a 2nd set for my alloys i run in the summer, but my nearest pep boys is quite a distance from me and wal-mart had a special on uniroyal liberators at the time. heres a few pics of the tires. Size: 88.5 KB they absolutly eat snow, what few times ive had them in dirt they did fine, the uniroyals however are great on pavement but thats about it, they do have a higher load rating than the futura's but that about the only advantage they have.
