what to put on rims to protect from salt??
 
m/t says to put a jelly on the wheels to protect them from salt just wondering what u guys use????i was thinking oil spray them..

jelly? I dont put anything on mine just give them a good clean before and after winter and wash the rims off once a week. I dont have any problems up here

I know the feeling! lol. use mothers all rim cleaner to clean them. and try to clean them often or they rust and turn ugly

they make some stuff called zoop seal i heard it works great just havent gotten to try it yet

I got the same problem with mine. Its kinda a pita to polish them after winter. Somone on here said spray them with WD40 when winter comes around.

Just wax/seal them. Same as your paint.

Clean them real good before winter and put liquid floor wax on them. I do this on my big truck and works great for me. You have to also do your cleaning year round. All i can say is it was a nasty winter in parts of the country and my wheels are still like new.
