What setup would work?

Ive got a 2008 FX4 with a 3 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift and i need wheels and tires. I was thinking of running a 15x8 with 4"in offset wheel and a 33x12.5 tire. I want the edge of the tire to sit right at the edge of the stock fender flare or posibly stick out a lillt bit (no more than a half inch). What im wondering is if you guys think that would be a decent setup? Or what else should i run. Bigger rim? Different offset? Different tire? Thanks for your input.

What about running a 35x12.5x15 with a 3.75 or 3.25 backspace?

What 3" suspension lift do you have? T-bar crank? They don't make an actual 3" suspension lift for your truck. And yes those tires will be fine also.

The suspension lift is new torsion keys and and add a leaf in the rear. I measured the truck stock and remeasured after the lift went in and it was up just over 3 inches.

the setup you mentioned will be fine. I have 15x10 and 12.50 with like 3 1/2 half inches backspace and they stick out past my flares so that sounds about right

not trying to be a dick but any "lift" keys are going to destroy your front end in a heart beat

I had lift keys for about a month and that was way too long. as kyle said they will destroy your front end. But in the end its your choice
