Icon6 help!! Wheel Spacers!

hey there.
i recently put 285/75/16's on my 2010 ford ranger sport 4x4 . They do look great but i now want to put a wheel spacers in to give it a wider profile look. I have been looking around a bit on the internet but no-one has really answered the questions i have been looking for.
so hopefully you guys can help me out.. as i am new to this kind of stuff.
I am looking for either a site / store to buy these from?
What will be the maximum size i can get (1", 1.5", 2" etc)?
Will this affect my durability of tires/wheels/hubs etc?
Are spacers safe?
Is there anything I should know about spacers that newbies like me wouldnt know about .?
thank you.

Ive had 1.25" on mine for two years now and havent had any problems. I do torque them regularly (like when i change the oil) just to make sure they stay tight. i have heard that they wear out your front end a little quicker since they make the wheels stick out further and put a little more stress on it, but its hard to say....

With spacers just make sure you get the ones that bolt to your existing studs that way you can torque them down.
