Any of you ever used a set? I have had 12.5s and 10.5s. I see alot more advantages to a skinny tire for my purposes, but have no idea what it looks like. I can image it would look odd, but how odd.

Any of you ever used the bfg at 33x9.5s?

Well - I cant remember where the pictures are.. but a 33x9.5 looks almost goofy skinny - like your on some old school tractor tires or something..

They look like pizza cutters on a lifted truck, but they really aren't that bad on a stock height truck.
I wouldn't run them with a superlift but I would totally rock them on a stock ranger for winter or something, assuming I didn't want to play in REALLY deep snow.

I just checked out the price, they are actually 100 bucks more roughly a set than the 10.5s. So I will be getting the 10.5s again.

Interesting. There are a couple other companies that sell 33x9.50s if you are really interested, or at least they use to...

This mud terrain SXT use to be available in 33x9.50R15, not a bad tire although it is really more of an aggressive all terrain, pinned for studs. It would work very will studded and siped for winter, I use to see them quite a bit in Oregon, owned a set myself in 31x10.50.
Les Schwab Tire Centers - Winter Tires - Mud Terrain SXT

But like I said, they look like pizza cutters on a lifted truck in 33x9.50. I use to see them on lifted Toyotas quite a bit.

I have seen them on some older toyotas myself. I think I am going with the 10.5 MT this time.

I love the 10.5s, they worked great for me. I am more about function over form. But, form should always follow function, when possible.
