What size wheel is better????
I know that this has been discussed before, but I can't really find an answer by searching. It just leads to other subjects.
I have a 99 xlt 4X4. I am soon getting a new set of wheels. Probably gonna be american racing baja's or the Mojave's.
The tires that will be on them are BFG AT 31x10.5 R15.
What would be a better wheel size to go with, 15x8 or 15x10??????? I do plan on getting a lift in the near future also, so maybee the tire size will change to 33X12.5. But for now the 31's will be used.
Do you really gain anything by going with 15x10 wheels?????? Or do you just gain problems???

what you lifting with because a 33x12.5x15 on a 15x10 will not fit properly with out like a body lift. and on the 15x8 it bearly fits and needs trimming. personally order the body lift and put them on 15x10
talk to Zabeard, Rangererv, and 04lvl2 really. beard and bill have 15x10 and evan has 15x8 and evans BFG's like .5"-1" doesnt make contact with the ground correctly and on beards and bills they do but really talk to those guys they can help alot

Oh, dear Lord, please, not again.
It's not been answered because THERE IS NO SINGLE RIGHT ANSWER. The other topics have covered it THOROUGHLY.
31x10.5x15 should NOT be mounted on 15x10's though.
And I shall no contribute any more to these discussions. Being "talked to death" is way too mild to describe this subject, lol...

everyone that has 15x10s that i have talked to loves them.
but its funny because i know several people that have 15x8s and want 15x10s after seeing them.
ive never heard of anyone going the other way.
but like the others said there is no RIGHT choice.
its all in what you do with your truck and what size tire you will be running.
