wheel help....not real help...lol

Ok, bad joke. Anyways, I've got a 97 Ranger with 225 70 R14's. Its getting really hard to find tires for it in my neck of the woods. I was looking into getting some basic 15 inch American Racing wheels for it but was wondering if anyone could help me with the backspacing, rim width and bolt pattern info so I knew what I was looking for specifically. Thanks.

15x8, with 3.75 is a good backspace with bolt pattern 5 on 4.5

The stcok wheels are 7", going to an 8" won't make a difference. I went up to 8's as well and they look great, handle great, and are a lot better tires.

with a 2 inch coil spacer Zach(redenckstone) fits 32x11.5x15s on his truck

i say stay around a 29 inch tire.

ive got 30x9.5x15 on my DD(99 ranger sport) and it rubs from time to time, at least that is what i think it is, ive never had tire rubbing problems on my 03 ranger so im not sure what it sounds like in the cab

seems to me that a 15x8 would look odd with just a 30x9.5, my setup is 15x7 with 31x10.5s and the sidewall on the tire is only slightly wider than the wheel itself
