Icon5 wheel spacer, pros and cons

i want to hear about your personnal experience or expert opinion about it...

I have a 2010 FX4.

I'm wondering about :

1. possible premature wear on specific parts

2. overall change in handling

3. off-road and snow driving

4. turning radius

5. highway driving

6. allignment needed?

7. what's the best brand or store to buy them

8. ideal size

9. anything i forgot...!

Increased turning radius and a harsher ride (for some reason) were the 2 reasons that I sent mine back.
They were Spidertrax 1-1/4" , 5 on 4-1/2. Order them from spidertrax.com
My install is in the How-To section.

i actually ended up with a tighter turning radius with mine, but that's because my wheels hit the shock before full lock. with the spacer, i can go lock to lock. i have the 1.25" ones on the front and haven't had the first problem. have had them for 4 years or so.

Honestly, they aren't completely terrible unless you don't do the maintenance on them. keep them torqued down and check wheel bearings often and you will be perfectly fine.
