confused as to tire size

Hello, winter is fast approaching and I am shopping for some used winter tires for my 03 edge. Right now I am running 265 70 r16s am I right in thinking that I can also can fit (on my rims) 265 75 r16s?

the 75/70 is the width right?

You can also use 245/75-16 as well. Going narrower allows you to cut thru the snow a bit easier...also adds more weight on a per square inch basis due to a smaller contact area.
