You need to decide a size first. Go from there. Most guys go 15s. Just avoid steel rims. they'll rust if scratched, and are pretty heavy. Aluminum is the way to go. What size tires are you wanting to run? What styles do you like? Spokes? Circles?

IMO.. I think black rims look pretty good with white trucks. But, just avoid steel rims. Sure, lots of people have run them, but they are heavy and you can find the exact same styles in aluminum.

x2

What styles do you like and what size are you looking for? Spokes or no? That will go a long way in narrowing this down.

I want some to fit 33x12.5 tires. I prefer circles instead of spokes.

There are a ton of rim sizes that will fit 33x12.5... We need to know the third number in that sequence. 15? 17? 24?

Then there's rim width and backspacing. Do you want them to poke out a lot, or be mostly "tucked in?"

Black, chrome, or painted?

I'd go with a 15 or 16 inch wheel. Maybe a 17 if it's the right wheel. What's your budget?

This.. for a 33x12.50, 15's are usually the cheaper route to go with. 16's and 17's look good, but the tires usually cost a little bit more. A lot of guys, including myself, run that size.. a 15x8. An average rim like mine is going to be a 15x8 with 3.75" backspacing.

Backspacing is going to determine how much your rim sticks out or is tucked in the wheel well. Mine don't stick out too far, but also I don't have fender flares. Most rims my size are between 3.5" and 4" of backspacing.. 4" is going to be pushed in under the wheel well a little bit more, and anything more than that you could run the risk of rubbing issues. So.. find something under 4" backspacing.

You can also run a 15x10, if you like that look. Your tires are going to stick out a little bit more.. giving a wider looking stance. Depends on the look you want.

Check out tirerack.com or discounttiredirect.com and look at different rims they have available.

my budget is around 900 to 1000 dollars. whatever it takes to get my truck looking like it should. so i should go with 15x8? i do want my tires to stick out of the wheel well some but nothing drastic. i was looking at black and chrome ion alloy rims, needed an opinion on how they would look with my truck, because its white and has chrome front bumper.

I should've been more specific... Is that your budget for just wheels or the whole combo? If it's just wheels, the Fuel Revolvers are really nice.

33x12.50x15

33 is how tall the tire is
12.50 is how wide the tire is
15 is the size of the rim

15x8 is the size of the rim.. diameter x width
