i know alot of people talk about this but i haven't found the exact answer for me.

new tire time and i want big. BUT..........i don't wanna embarass my self when my tire hits my bumper or something else just trying to park. though i don't need to crank the wheel very often. i do understand that bigger tires will rub on the inside when i crank the wheel but that doesn't bother me. i would also really like bfg mudder or mickey thompson bajas, so i need one of those tires that are big and can fit my stock 16 inch rims o ya and i do have fender flares that i don't wanna trim.

 

265/75/16 is your best bet for not rubbing. you could run a 285/75/16 but im guessing it will rub.

 

I just put a set of 265s on my truck last weekend. I did not crank the TBars... No rubbing at all and the Cooper STs are fairly aggressive.... If you ask me I think that it really makes the truck run and ride the way that it is supposed to.

 

good luck finding M/T's they are on national back order. Factory wont even start producing them for another 40 days.

 

 

i have 275/75/16 BFG ATs and i've never had any problems with rubbing.....

 

they dont make 275x75x16 BFG's they make a 275x70x16 which is a (31x11x16) so i better hope it doesnt rub.

now a 265x75x16(32x10.5x16) doesnt rub eather

a 285x75x16(33x11.3x16) needs a small t-bar crank and shouldnt rub
