I'm looking to get some cheap steelies for my 2000 xlt. The thing is i recently stole my buddies 15x8's w/ 4in backspace he had lying around from his jeep to try them out and they rubbed on my calipers a bit. You think i could get away with 15's if i went with a 3.75 backspace??

Brand new steel wheels are cheap as well.
I had 15x8s with 3.75BS on my sport trac (bigger brakes up front) and they cleared fine, but just barely.
Some wheels are shaped slightly different even with the same backspacing though.
