wider in rear?

since im 2wd could i do 15x7 up front and then 15x8 in the rear. or should i keep them the same, and could i do mts in rear and ats up front, im just trying to save money. i have the 07 xl with 5speed 2.3l if this helps

GrafixGuy Jul 8, 2007 11:16 PM

I say do the same, cause its a pain buying diff. tires, just keep it simple, and do same tires as well... IF you really wana save money use your stock wheels and ad bigger tires, like 31s...

07Ranger Jul 8, 2007 11:30 PM

if i kept stock rim could i get it powdercoated balck easily

07Ranger Jul 8, 2007 11:37 PM

im getting it lifter almost 4" all around

07Ranger Jul 9, 2007 10:17 AM

nobody else has any imput...come on!!

Silver Jul 9, 2007 10:21 AM

15x8 all around with the same tires that way you can rotate them

greygooseranger Jul 9, 2007 10:25 AM

You want to do Mud tires out back and All terrains in the front? No way.... The offset wheel/tire size only looks good on a street truck that has fatter meets in the back. When I was in high school I had a lower ridding truck (not slammed) that had 255/50/16's in the back and 245/50/16's in the front.

You can get your stock wheels powder coated easily (as long as there is somewhere around you that does it) Then you can put 31x10.5x15's on there...

Same all the way around. Having 2 spares is a pain in the arse.

X2 lol i dont have any damn room in my box because i have to have 2 spares, if your going up your tires are obviously going to be bigger then mine so im guessing a bigger pain in the ass

07Ranger Jul 9, 2007 02:16 PM

ok, well since im going up almost 3" all around should i do stock 15x7 on 31s, and would they still look good, or should i get the 15x8 and have a better stance on 32s

07Ranger Jul 11, 2007 10:12 AM

so my next question is would 31s look alright on my 15x7? or should i go to crager 15x8? and would 31s look alright with around a 3" lift?

07Ranger Jul 11, 2007 10:16 PM

anybody?

0sixsport Jul 11, 2007 10:20 PM

I'd go with 15x8s. Your 15x7s will give you a very narrow stance after the lift.

07Ranger Jul 11, 2007 10:30 PM

ok cool

07Ranger Jul 11, 2007 10:31 PM

what 31s coul go on there and would 31s look good with a 3in lift

0sixsport Jul 11, 2007 10:33 PM

Probably 31x10.5 or 11.5 if they have them. I think they would look good. You may even want to consider running 32's with a 3 inch lift. I'm not really much help on tires though unless we are talking about 33's.

07Ranger Jul 11, 2007 10:39 PM

so 31x10.5x15?

greygooseranger Jul 12, 2007 05:02 AM

Yeah, that would be a good size... Go BFG (personally)
