General Grabber Extreme Traction
Sup fellas, so ive kinda fell in love with these tires and look like a soild on/off road tire. I was just wanting to get an imput on what everyone thinks about the tires I see every talk about how good they are with noise and off roading how they grip but also i was hoping to see what everyone thiings about the tread life is on them. Any info would be great. Id be getting them in some meaty 33-12.5!! I dont know why but the red lettering is really cool but not sure if it would look cool with the yellow, for some reason, i can see it looking sweet

the red letters are just a glorified sticker also, if you do heavy trails or rock crawl; they're gonna come off. the prez of the jeep club i'm a part of got sponsored for his tj and some grabbers, he LOVES them on the rocks. on the street they are awesome also. km2's are better in the mud, but not anywhere else... i'm gonna quote one of his overall statements when i told him that i had a friend looking at them
"Tell him if he wants a tire that will do ok in mud.. awesome street manners and grips rocks and sand like it's nobody's mussiness.. then he won't be disappointed! "
now here's his "product review" thread...

the only way to truly grip ice is with studs. sipped tires have grooves/slits whatever you want to call them in the tread so they clean themselves out easier and quicker. it also makes it a bit softer since there is space for the rubber to "flex". i guess it is a little better on ice but you'll still be crab walking on a frozen road in 4x4.
I'm pretty sure Dan loves his tires though, i've heard good things about them

suppose i should chime in naow....
so here is my long term word on these tires. they are a purpose built tire that is built to excel for the purpose they were made for, and they do...quite well in fact. dirt, snow, sand, gravel and you are set. i havent had them in mud, but i suspect they will not do the best there due to the lack of huge tread voids and the they way they are cut. however, on some trails they would do quite well.
i think the only down fall on this tire(and it could just be mine) is the noise, they are loud as hell!!!! bogger loud. but as i said it could just be mine.
all in all a fantastic tire really. over a year and alot of miles and im certain i can pull 2 more years out of them.

Does that sound about right? I can't find anywhere where it says how long they last.
