Will they clear?
I recently saw a tacoma with 265/70/R17 tires/wheels and i was wondering if they will fit under my truck without rubbing. I'm driving a 99 X-cab 4x4. I plan on cranking the T-bars a little to make the truck sit level...what do you guys think?

i know that 265 75 16s are like 32s..i got 33s with t-bar and AALs..so id say yes they wouuld fit..now i dunno how wide those are so thats gunna be the big play in if they will fit..you got the clearance

265/70R17 = 31.6x10.4R17
i run 33x10.5R15s on mine with just a tbar crank and have no problems. |
then yes they will work..
if you run that set up what kind of rubber and metal will you have? |
If i run that, I will be going with BFG AT's and 17x8 ION 165's. The tacoma i saw had mud dawg tires and the same rims...it looked sharp!

my buddy is runnin that size mud dawg on his quad cab taco with a 3" fabtech dirt logic kit...with some american racing wheels....and i'm about to sell him some BFGs
|
^^ do you have fender flairs?
Thoes take up a little room, but 31.6 should fit no prob. |
i have 32.5x10.5R16s with a stock suspension set up on my 03 fx4 and theres no rubbing or nothin. go for it.

I've been running 265/70R17 on 17x8" Mustang GT wheels w/ a 1" Eibach spacer/adapter for over 2 years now (I'm on my third set of tires in that size, and about 65K miles.) VERY VERY minor rubbing at full-lock, otherwise no problems at all, 2wd Edge w/ very mild T-Bar crank.
