will they fit???

I bought a set of slightly used Mud Kings from a guy for 30 bucks today at Pep Boys. They are 265/70/16's...i'm curious if they will fit under a stock suspension on my 02 4x4 without rubbing...
Thanks in advance for any input...

Pinecone May 19, 2005 04:37 PM

I'm gonna say yes, since Neil has 33's on his stock FX4 L2.

cool...thanks ryan...while i'm asking about tire fitment and whatnot i NEED to know if i can put on 15x8 rims without getting too close to the rotors...

Pinecone May 19, 2005 04:49 PM

Yes. I have 15x10's on mine and there is more than enough clearance.

SoundPer4mance May 19, 2005 05:03 PM

those tires are the same size as stock, just a little bit wider...... im sure they will fit

SoundPer4mance May 19, 2005 05:04 PM

on an 02 4wd, you should be ok with 15s. it was an 03 up the answer would be no

Bigwill41 May 19, 2005 05:05 PM

Hurry and get some pics up...

Pinecone May 19, 2005 05:16 PM

I just noticed something. You asked about 15x8's but got 16" tires for really cheap. Why is that?

Sad_Savant May 19, 2005 05:20 PM

cuz i have factory 16's..but i want bfg at's...and i can't find a decent price on 16's....so i'm gonna go with a 15x8 rim and 31x10.50x15 tires

Pinecone May 19, 2005 05:29 PM

You won't find a decent price on 16's. Cool, so whatcha gonna do with the mud kings?

Sad_Savant May 19, 2005 05:46 PM

prolly use them till i get my eagle rims then i'll prolly sell them

Sad_Savant May 19, 2005 05:58 PM

hey ryan...i just realized something......GOOOODDDD MOOORRRNNNNINNNNGGGG FAYETTE-NAM....lol...so how are things down there???

CjRanger99 May 19, 2005 09:24 PM

Im running 256/75's and they dont rub at all. They are definatly bigger than stock. Stock tires (at least on mine) were 245's. They are about an inch taller and a tad bit wider. Yours will be even wider since they are 70's. Anyway... yeh they should fit without any problems.
