3" body lift how to

i did a three inch body lift on my 99 4x4 4.0... it was relativly easy. follow all the directions. EVERY STEP! if the instructions say to remove the intake. do it! the radiator fan shroud will come up and hit the intake. also dont do the filler neck extenshion in the rain. it will be dirty nomatter what but the rain makes it worse..

cant figure out how to atach pictures so go look at my album on my profile.

allow atleast a like Fri night, sat, sunday for your first time.

read the INSTRUCTIONS a few times BEFORE starting thats what some people get hung up on.

also read this thread for tips before starting it will save time and help you understand whats going on better

Agreed. Just have a full weekend planned that way if you need to go out and get a certain tool you're fine. It shouldn't take near that long but better safe than sorry.

first time me and a buddy ever did one, we did my truck in about 5 hours with hand tools. that was the lift part. then we just had to re install bumpers and other miscellaneous things.
