I really like the look that rangers have with a 3inch body lift and would like to do the same with my 2000 xlt. I see that you can build a 1inch lift without having to buy anything and i was wondering if it is possible to do the same with a 3inch lift? Id really love to have a lift on my truck but cash is a problem (Isnt it always?) My pap is a welder by trade and could pretty much fab anything i needed but would it look as good/be as safe.

How would you guys go about it?

 

buy it, just find a bl kit with everything you need

If you can't afford a 150$ body lift than honestly u shouldn't do it. Most people want bigger tires afterwards anyways.

Having the fab skills is sweet though. Have your dad make you a sick bumper after you save up enough $$ to body lift it.
