Im thinkin of trading in my 06 sport, for an 05 4x4. I am not sure if it is what i want. It is through my work. I would really like an 06-07 4x4.

Some info on the truck;

Any feed back on there.. If i do get it, i will transfer my tires over and anything else that i have put into it.. radio, subs.. etc.

x2 4x4 is always better and youll have the 4.0

 

yea...you won't get stuck on slick grass like last time. lol....do it. And you can always swap the '05 grille for a '06+ grille. The corners as well.

 

no to worried bout the grill.. but i did just order the clear corners.. so i will do that

swap your current grill to the 05. they are the same colors arent they?

 

What is all different in a FX4 Level 1 rather a normal 4wd?

 

has a few skids and different shocks. spring rates might be a bit different as well

that is the major stuff.

 

Well i didnt end up buying the truck. Seems my work likes to lie on the internet. It had no power locks, windows, mirror's.... Hell it wasnt even a FX4.

But, now i am looking at an 08 Sport 4x4. Rebates, and Employee D plan!

 

That sucks. There's a dealer on craigslist with an ad for a 03 fx4 level 2 with a manual trans.......YET, pictured both in multiple ads and on their website, it's a 03 edge auto. I even emailed back and forth argueing with them. Dealers are funny.

Good luck on the 08 sport...imo, the best looking ranger since the '03L2.

 

Well i didn't end up getting an 08 either. Didnt have everything i wanted in it. Also, since i've only had the 06 for 4 months, i would have rolled over 4k negative equity, so im leasing a 08 F150 STX for 3 years.

Once that is done, it will get me back out of the whole.
