Double body lift???

Wanting to no if i could cheat and do a double body lift, 2 3inch pa lifts and get 6 inches of lift rather than 4 inch suspension and 3 inch pa lift for way more money. 2 body lifts would be like 400 bucks and suspension and body lift would be over 1500. Any ideas? Really wanting to do this before school starts but want to no which way to go. If anyone has any pictures with a ranger double body lifted could i see them?

What year is your truck?

Just do a body lift. If you want more, crank your torsion bars or get lift coils depending on what year your truck is.

Please for the love do NOT hack a 6" body lift.

'If your body lift is on top of another body lift, you might be a redneck' ? haha

I have friends that make their own BLs... usually 4 or 5" but they all use 1/4" square stock and make their own bumper brackets.....but they all mostly do that on full sizes for trails only.

Alright I'll explain to you why this is such a bad idea. 6" is way too tall and the body weighs way too much to be sitting up that high and it's just not safe to rely on those few body mount bolts when it's that high.

i rather do coil spacers and stack a million leafs on top of eachother for height, rather than putting a 6 inch block with a half inch nut through the body/bed and trusting my life to it.

search, suspension lifts arent THAT expensive.

That response is kinda lacking, when you promised explanation.

If you could make a 6 inch body lift you would run into problems such as:
lengthening the steering shaft. The kit comes with an adapter for a 3 inch lift. It would be pretty greasy to put in two adapters if thats possible.
The engine wouldn't get good airflow nor would the radiator. On top of that, you would have to make custom brackets to lower the radiator that low.
Gas tank would need an even longer gas tank extension.

And as the guy I quoted was explaining, when you have 6 inches of body lift, that's not really reinforced. If you ever stopped really hard or got ina car crash the top half of your truck would probbaly snap off and continue forward. It'd be pretty awesome to see if you weren't in the vehicle.

Also it would look SO ****TY.

I was just explaining the main thing Aaron. The steering extension or radiator really doesn't matter if your cab falls off.

It's a dumb idea anyways. OP needs to take basic auto class or something.

haha.Funny story about Alabama... I was driving through there on my way to Florida from Iowa. Had never been through Alabama before so didnt know what to expect. Well, i saw not 1, not 2 but THREE trucks that were one color cab and another color bed. Not that big of a deal, right? well it is when YOU HAVE A DUALY BED on a NON DUALY chasi.

Not gunna lie, i laughed SOOOO hard.
